Gaby Espino: Of course! I decided to take a break from my busy schedule and celebrate my birthday in style by traveling to Iceland. It’s such a beautiful and unique country with breathtaking landscapes that are simply captivating. Some of the highlights of the trip included visiting the Blue Lagoon, exploring the glaciers, and trying out some traditional Icelandic food. It was truly rejuvenating to spend quality time by myself and recharge my batteries.
Alejandro, you accompanied Gaby on this trip. How did you two meet, and what was it like to travel together?
Alejandro de la Madrid: Yes, I was happy to join Gaby on this trip. We actually met on the set of the soap opera “Luna, la heredera” in 2004 in Colombia. Since then, we’ve become great friends. Traveling together was a lot of fun! We shared our experiences and enjoyed each other’s company. Despite being away from home and in a new place, it felt like we were just catching up with old times.
The closeness in your pictures led many to believe that you both might be dating. However, Gaby clarified that you’re just good friends. Can you both talk about your friendship journey and how it has lasted this long?
Gaby Espino: Yes, we are just best friends. I think what has made our friendship last so long is our common understanding and respect for each other.
