Section 1: Introduction to ‘Ka’ and its Pan-Indian appeal
CM: Good day, Charitha Menon here. Could you please introduce our first guest, Mr. Sudeesh Venkat, who is a well-known producer and distributor in the film industry?
SV: Hello there, Sudeesh Venkat here. It’s great to be on this platform to discuss a promising movie like ‘Ka.’
CM: Good to have you here, Sudeesh. Now, what made you choose ‘Ka’ for distribution in Kerala? Can you tell us a little about the production house and the team behind it?
SV: Sure, ‘Ka’ is a Pan-Indian movie that has already been a huge hit in Telugu. It’s a suspense-thriller that has all the elements to captivate the audience. Wayfarer Films, headed by Dulquer Salmaan, approached us for the distribution of the Malayalam version. The movie is directed by newcomers Sujith and Sandeep, and produced by Chintha Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Sri Chakras Entertainment.
CM: Interesting. So, Charitha, as a film critic, what do you think makes ‘Ka’ stand out from the other South Indian movies that have been released this year?
CM: Well, Sudeesh, like you mentioned, the movie’s Pan-Indian appeal is quite intriguing. It’s being made in four languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. This shows that the makers have confidence in the story’s universal appeal. The trailer suggests that it has a good mix of suspense, drama, romance, and action. Furthermore, the star cast, which includes Kiran Abbavaram, Tanvi Ram, and Nayani Sarika, is quite promising.
