You only have a few days left to join the Lemon Festival team in Menton

It takes a lot of effort to organize the Lemon Festival. The Tourist Office has launched recruitment for the 91st edition of the unmissable event in the cultural and social life of Menton, which will be held from February 15 to March 2, 2025.

No less than 350 controllers are needed on an interim basis for the five corsos of the festival (Sundays February 16 and 23, Sunday March 2, Thursdays February 20 and 27). During these flower float parades, some will be responsible for checking tickets at the entrances, others will ensure security within the enclosure, still others will provide information to tourists, etc. They will be paid the hourly minimum wage, with a 50% increase on Sundays.

Around forty handlers are also needed. They will be in charge of fruiting the structures in the gardens and on the floats. “They will have to work at height and carry heavy loads”specifies Florian Cournault, head of the ticketing service at the Tourist Office. These people will be mobilized two weeks before the start of the festivities. The position is also paid at minimum wage, for hours of 35 hours per week, with potential overtime. “For two years, we have had recruitment difficulties for this position”specifies Florian Cournault. To be able to apply for these two offers, you must be of legal age on February 1, 2025, and appear from Monday November 4 to Friday November 22, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Palais de l’Europe. Access is via rue Pasteur, via the artists’ entrance.
