REGGIO EMILIA – On the afternoon of Friday 15 November 2024, a patrol of the Reggio Emilia Traffic Police intervened along the city avenues to stop a large-engined motorbike which was proceeding at high speed, carrying a passenger without a helmet.
Among the moving cars
The driver, in addition to performing dangerous overtaking and zigzag maneuvers between a long line of vehicles, attempted to evade control in the sight of the officers by trying to hide among the moving cars.
Without documents and insurance
The patrol, noticing the suspicious and risky behavior, managed to stop the motorcyclist safely. During the check, it emerged that the passenger was not wearing a helmet, while the owner of the vehicle was driving without the mandatory documents and without regular insurance.
Administrative sanctions
The infringements led to the issuing of administrative sanctions for a total value of approximately one thousand euros and to the seizure of the vehicle.
