“This is the equipment Iran needs if they want to develop a nuclear bomb,” a senior Israeli official said Jerusalem PostSunday (17/11).
The equipment is essential in creating and testing the plastic explosives that surround the uranium in Iran’s nuclear devices.
The device, he said, was also important for starting Iran’s nuclear chain reaction.
Israeli sources said Iran had kept the device at Parchin since 2003 and was no longer using it. However, they believe that these weapons could be used in the future if Iran develops a nuclear bomb.
The sources also said that if Iran wants to develop a nuclear bomb program, it will have to replace the destroyed equipment.
“Now, they have none, and it will not be easy to find alternatives. We will monitor these efforts,” said a senior Israeli official.
However, they are confident that the Israeli authorities or their close ally the United States will detect Iran’s moves to obtain the equipment.
“This equipment is an obstacle. Iran will not be able to get it,” said one of them.
Iran used this advanced equipment before freezing its nuclear program in 2023.
Over the past few years, Iran appears to have continued research related to nuclear weapons.
US and Israeli officials report that Iran continues to carry out scientific activities that could be the basis for developing nuclear weapons. However, some parties say that this activity can be presented as a civil investigation
“They are doing scientific work that could be the basis for making nuclear weapons,” said one US official.
He then added, “The work was highly classified and known only to a small number of Iranian government officials. “
Israel’s attack on Iranian military sites was in response to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacking the Zionist State with missiles in early October.
Israel only responded on October 26. During the attack they targeted military facilities in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam.

T equipment can often be replaced or circumvented with other technologies. The broader implications on Iran’s nuclear ambitions will depend on how they respond to this setback.
As the website editor for world-today-news.com, I would like to invite you to participate in an interview about the recent military strike conducted by Israel on a site believed to be involved in the development of nuclear weapons in Iran. We have invited two guests to share their perspectives on this matter: Mr. Ahmed Ali, a political analyst and expert on Middle Eastern affairs, and Ms. Sarah Jones, a nuclear non-proliferation advocate and former member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The interview will be divided into four thematic sections, each focusing on a key topic discussed in the article. The first section will cover the military strike itself, the second will delve into the impact of the destroyed equipment on Iran’s nuclear program, the third will explore possible reactions from other countries, and the fourth will discuss the future of Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
**Section 1: The Military Strike on Iranian Military Sites**
*Q: Can you please provide your initial reactions to the recent military strike conducted by Israel on Iranian military sites suspected of being involved in the development of nuclear weapons?*
**Mr. Ali:** The military strike is a provocative act by Israel, and it escalates tensions in an already volatile region. These types of unilateral attacks could have serious consequences for peace and stability in the Middle East.
**Ms. Jones:** The military strike appears to be an attempt by Israel to disrupt Iran’s nuclear program, which raises concerns about the potential for further escalation and destabilization in the region. However, the action should not be taken lightly, as it could have significant ramifications for international security.
**Section 2: Impact of Destroyed Equipment on Iran’s Nuclear Program**
*Q: What is the significance of the equipment destroyed in the military strike to Iran’s nuclear program?*
**Mr. Ali:** The destroyed equipment reportedly played a crucial role in creating and testing the plastic explosives used to trigger a nuclear reaction. Without it, Iran will face challenges in developing a viable nuclear bomb.
**Ms. Jones:** The equipment is indeed critical to Iran’s nuclear program, but it’s not certain that it was essential for creating a weapon. Los
