This innovative project was conceived by Thomas W. Messerer, an Argentinian who understands first-hand the effects of noise on health. «Buenos Aires is one of the noisiest cities in Latin America. I know how noise can affect health, as I grew up with a hearing-impaired father,” he shares. Silence was built upon Peaqa layer 1 blockchain designed to power DePIN, a decentralized network that uses tokens to incentivize people to collaborate. In addition, the application is present in nearly 180 countries and has rigorous privacy security measures.
