Resignations and requests to be removed from the register of SYRIZA members continue after the mock conference on the Holy Road.
This time the members of N.E Fthiotida submitted their resignation almost en masse from this position, but also from the coordinating bodies of the OM, requesting their deletion, as well as the deletion of their personal data.
They spoke of a “mockery of democratic legitimacy”, but also of a “rigged Congress of exclusions, pre-feminism and a false and opportunistic majority”, noting that they are handing over seals and keys to Koumoundourou!
The announcement
We hereby submit our resignation as members of N.E. Fthiotidas and the coordinators of O.M. and we request our deletion from the SYRIZA-PS membership register, as well as the deletion of our personal data from isyriza.
We joined SYRIZA-PS considering that it is a party with principles, which serves the values of the Left and Democracy. We worked hard and took time out of our personal and family lives. As N.E. we fought the battle of the European elections, at the same time that prominent officials of the county shone through their absence, because, as it turned out, they expected a bad election result, as part of their strategy for party supremacy, with the guidance of some party Superegos.
Since 9-7-2024, we have witnessed a series of proxy decisions and anti-social behavior by a delegitimized Central Committee and its would-be half-measured imitators, with the aim of deposing the democratically elected President, in violation of the unanimous decision of the February 2024 Congress. .
We do not allow and do not tolerate from anyone the taunting of democratic legitimacy and the discrediting of the members, who elected specific delegates to a rigged Congress of exclusions, pre-feminizations and fake and opportunistic majorities.
We are withdrawing from SYRIZA-PS, with self-respect and political dignity, official elements that we preserved, during our term, despite the latest coup moves against us, which culminated in violations, even of a criminal nature, and in the end with the complete our exclusion from the official website of the Prefectural Committee and the removal of the sovereign authority of the conduct of the Presidential elections from us.
We hand over the keys and seal to you and keep the Idea, Values and Vision to ourselves.

#SYRIZA #Fthiotida #organization #left
What were the main factors contributing to the exodus of N.E. Fthiotida members from SYRIZA-PS, and how do these reflect broader themes of discontent within the party’s ranks?
Can you talk about the impact of the latest resignations and data deletion requests on the state of SYRIZA-PS, particularly in relation to the N.E. Fthiotida members? How significant is this development within the broader context of the party’s internal struggles and power dynamics?
What were some of the specific issues and grievances that led to this mass departure, and why did these members feel compelled to take such drastic measures as resigning en masse and publicly criticizing the party leadership? Are there any ongoing tensions or conflicts within the party that continue to simmer beneath the surface?
Do you think that the leadership’s handling of the recent Presidential elections played a role in pushing these members away? If so, what were some of the specific concerns they had about the way the process was conducted? Are there concerns within the party that democratic processes are being undermined by those in positions of power?
Given the prominence of gender issues within SYRIZA-PS, what role did pre-feminism play in the conflicts leading up to this mass resignation? Were there any specific instances where the party leadership was seen to ignore or undermine the voices of female members?
How will the resignation of the N.E. Fthiotida members and the subsequent deletion of their personal data from the party’s official website impact the party’s ability to organize and function effectively at the local level? What challenges does this present for maintaining cohesion and morale within the organization?
Are there any potential consequences for the party’s public image or electoral prospects that could arise from these high-profile resignations? Can SYRIZA-PS afford to lose members who have been active and dedicated to the cause for so long, particularly at a time when it is struggling to maintain its relevance and appeal to voters?
