A 23-year-old boy was arrested by the Carabinieri at the Rome station Tor Bella Monaca after he mistreated his parents for the umpteenth time. The young man, who was already under house arrest, was taken to prison in Regina Coeli, at the disposal of the judicial authorities. Given the strong state of agitation he was in, it took a long time to calm and reassure him.
The events took place in recent days in Rome, in an apartment in via Baldassarre Aloisi. It was the boy’s parents who called the police, a 61-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman, who had once again been the subject of his screams and fits of anger. On that occasion, perhaps because he was in the throes of withdrawal, he smashed the glass of his bedroom door with his fist, also injuring his hand.
