The former chairman of the BSP, Cornelia Ninova, is considering the creation of her own political project.
Ninova herself announced this to BNT.
“We gather with people with whom we have the same thinking, principles, morals and vision for the future of Bulgaria. We are discussing how we will proceed in a form that we will announce when we are ready. Everyone we meet wants to know the name. First, let’s see what we will do and define ourselves – left, center, conservative. But we are for family values, for children. But the profile has not yet been specified. The name will come easily according to who we are and what we are for,” said Ninova.
The former chairman of the BSP accused President Rumen Radev of pursuing a consistent policy of “dissolving” the BSP.
“It created ‘We Continue the Change’ in that fake way that we heard on the record. With the designation of the BSP as the status quo, even though we have been fighting the GERB model for 8 years. With the appointment of the internal opposition in the BSP. For him, it’s a consistent line because he wants to be the alternative. If he creates a project, it will hit the BSP,” added Ninova. And he accused President Radev and the behavior of the presidential institution of “hypocritical behavior”. “Why didn’t Radev fulfill his powers under the Constitution, and didn’t appeal the elections – he didn’t do it because he is waiting to negotiate with those inside the parliament and expects them to return his official office,” concluded Ninova.
