(Keystone-ATS) This morning long queues formed in front of the Lindt factory in Kilchberg (ZH), which produces the item characterized by a pistachio filling and kadayif, strings of crunchy dough often used in oriental desserts.
Only 500 of the coveted chocolate bars were sold in the Lindt shop attached to the property, priced at 14.95 francs: each was numbered and came with a certificate of authenticity. Those who arrived too late were able to console themselves with hot chocolate and pralines.
The same thing had already happened a few days ago when Lindt chocolate was introduced in Germany, a group which is not the only manufacturer of this article. In Hamburg, many people spent the night in the cold to be among the first to enter the shop when it opened in the morning. The product then sold for 400 francs on online markets.
