The Nursing Service of the Regional Department of Ioannina of the EAC, during the World Diabetes Day, held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, in front of the Epirus Region, an action to raise information and raise public awareness about Diabetes Sheriff Mellitus.

During the action, hundreds of free blood sugar measurements were made for citizens as well as information on detecting symptoms, prevention and treatment of the disease.
Diabetes Mellitus Day is celebrated every year on 14 November and reminds everyone that Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a growing global health threat.
The event was held in collaboration with the Pan-Epirituan Union for Juvenile Diabetes, the PGNI Diabetes Center & EEFIE (Scientific Association of Medical Students).
