The IPETYM N° 257 “Dr. René Favaloro” by Laboulaye celebrates an unprecedented achievement: his team was one of the winners of the national level of the Professional Technical Education Olympiads organized by the National Institute of Technological Education (INET).
This contest, held on November 15 in Buenos Aires, brought together students and teachers from all over the country to present and defend innovative projects.
Laboulaye students participated in the Programming category, where they took on the challenge of developing a web application for a leading company in marketing of sports products.
Through a rigorous process that included needs survey, design, development and implementation of systems, the team demonstrated technical excellence and creativity in problem solving.
The director of IPETYM N° 257, Maite Sposito, expressed his enthusiasm for the recognition: “We are very happy, imagine what this means for the institution. It is a source of pride for Laboulaye and an example of the talent and effort of our young people and teachers.”
Furthermore, he announced that a press conference next tuesday to share the students’ experience with the community.
This achievement places IPETYM No. 257 among the country’s outstanding institutions, along with other technical schools of Río Negro, Salta, Formosa, Chubut and Buenos Aires.
Recognition of the effort and dedication of the students of IPETYM No. 257 “Dr. René Favaloro” reaffirms the value of technical education as engine of regional and national development, and projects to Laboulaye as a hub of educational innovation in the south of Córdoba.
