However, according to the Preschool and School Education Act, the mayor of a city can declare a day of non-school and absence “only in case of an unusual and unexpected situation or for a day of celebration of the city holiday”. And today, Terziev refuses to raise the tension, leaving the decision to the Ministry of Education and Culture, from which they are hard as a donkey on a bridge.
A survey of “Maritsa” teachers’ organizations, however, shows that there will be joy on January 3, Friday. Children have already made it very clear that they will not be absent from activities by giving notes for domestic purposes.
