On Senior Citizens’ Day, November 17 (Sunday), friends aged 65 or over who have a valid Senior Citizen Happy Card or Octopus can ride the MTR, Light Rail and MTR buses for free.
* The offer does not apply to the Airport Express, East Rail Line cross-border journeys between Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations and the High Speed Rail. Seniors traveling in first class on the Eastern Rail Line must pay a premium first class fare.

Free trams game
Passengers aged 60 or over can board the tram for free by presenting their “Senior Citizen Card” or “Le Yoo Card” or Hong Kong Identity Card to the conductor when they get off the train on Senior Citizens Day, November 17th.

To celebrate Senior Citizens Day on November 17, HK Express is offering a “65+ Senior Citizens Limited Travel Offer”, where Hong Kong or Macau residents aged 65 or older can choose standard seats for as low as $2 fare and $2 flights to up to 20 select Asian destinations!

Travel date: November 21, 2024 to July 10, 2025 (all destinations subject to change)
Steps to purchase the “65+ Friends Limited Offer” ticket:
Step 1. Select Departure, Destination, Departure/Return Date from the specified event website and perform a flight search.
Step 2.. After choosing the flight and time you want to take, click on ‘Continue’ to fill in your personal information.
Step 3.. Check that your personal information is consistent with your travel documents and that you are over 65 years of age on or before the departure date of your flight.
Step 4.. Select the add-ons you need (such as checked baggage, in-flight meals, etc.) and pay using Credit Card/UnionPay Card/Alipay/WeChat Pay.
