3 predictions for the Dallas Cowboys game against the Houston Texans

The Dallas Cowboys are back again for a game and now in the middle of November they are looking for their first win at their home of AT&T Stadium.

Monday brings another opportunity with the Houston Texans. The Texans are favorites in the contest but in the NFL anything is possible.

If the Cowboys are going to win they are going to need to bring that energy because at the moment they are not playing very well.

With all the things saying that Dallas is going to be missing again… what are we going to see specifically?

Here are my 3 predictions for the game.

The Cowboys have more points in the second half

Coming into this game the Texans have not had a second half touchdown in the last four games. The Cowboys don’t have many points in the first or second half of games, but the long point is that Houston is leaving the door open for other teams to win.

I think these things are going to happen anyway and my prediction is that Dallas is going to have more points than Houston in the second half. It’s possible that Houston has a lot of points in the first half and something happening in the second half is not important, but Dallas is going to win the second half like the other teams did to the Texans.

Rico Dowdle runs for over 100 yards

Last week it was important at the running back position because Mike McCathy spoke and said that Rico Dowdle is the number one running back.

This reality was obviously up to someone who watched the Cowboys this season, but it’s what McCarthy kind of said. I think Dallas is going to give Dowdle the most opportunities he has this season and that Dowdle is going to have over 100 yards rushing results.

Jonathan Mingo has his first touchdown with Dallas

In 2018 the Cowboys traded for a wide receiver in Amari Cooper and his first game with the team was on Monday Night Football against a team from the AFC South. That night I was Tennessee Titans.

Jonathan Mingo is not there, Amari Cooper is not there and the Houston Texans are not there, the Tennessee Titans are not there, but it is interesting how the match happened. The Cowboys want someone to say that the trade for Mingo was very good and then they are going to do everything they can for Mingo to have a touchdown. Let’s see one.
