BERGEN. Around sixty seniors had registered for the sociable seniors’ afternoon in Chrischan’s party paradise, including two seniors’ facilities.
Right at the beginning, the cooking team arrived with the delicious stew for a march, during which everyone clapped along to the beat. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. many well-known pieces of music were played and everyone had great fun! Thanks to the great music and entertainment from DJ Clemens Köhneke, who didn’t have to ask the visitors to sway, because that happened almost automatically. There were guessing sessions, briefly played songs with the question: what kind of title is that and who is the singer? Chrischan Benning also contributed questions: he read a piece of text and then asked how the text continued. Some answers came in unison; the visitors clearly enjoyed it.
Those who were still able to walk didn’t let themselves be stopped from dancing. In addition to delicious soup, coffee and cake, there was also something for the head and small, very funny prizes if you guessed correctly! E.g. A heater for the winter in the form of a heat pad! A big thank you also goes to Chrischan Benning for his great commitment and heart as well as to his hard-working team.
The community foundation is pleased that it was able to help make participation possible for everyone interested by making a small contribution to the costs. Everyone liked it and especially the people from the senior citizens’ facilities, who gratefully took advantage of the offer.
