According to the academic, who since 2002 has been carrying out research on teenage motherhood in Mexico, in 2014 this problem gained relevance since our country was placed in first place among the 34 countries that make up the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) regarding the adolescent fertility rate.
