Four individuals were taken into police custody this Saturday after a shooting in Grenoble (Isère). Gunshots were heard in a park around noon.
New shooting in Grenoble. Four men were taken into custody after a shooting this Saturday in Grenoble, following several similar incidents this week, the prosecution announced.
“Four police custody in progress”, indicated in a message to the press the public prosecutor of Grenoble Eric Vaillant, confirming information from the daily The Dauphiné Libéré.
Several gunshots were heard around noon in a park in the Chorrier-Berriat district, including a children’s play area. The man targeted by the shots left without being hit.
The police managed to control and arrest a suspect in possession of a handgun, before arresting three other men suspected of being his accomplices.
This new shooting comes less than 24 hours after gunshots were heard on Place Saint-Bruno, in the city center, around 8:15 p.m. this Friday evening. Several individuals in a car and a two-wheeler were involved in this previous shooting.
