The most informed and reputable British newspaper The Times reported that Washington is changing its approach to the situation in this country in favor of less cautious and more firm and now hopes, as they say, that Kiev will win the confrontation with Russia and regain its lost territories. But this is only a cover.
“We want to see Ukraine win and keep all its territory,” a source said.
But he added: “The realistic assessment is that this will not happen” in the foreseeable future, as Moscow “does not show any interest in negotiations”.
We recall that earlier in the United States it was believed that Ukraine should get at least something back from Russia in order to improve its position in the negotiations. Why has the United States now suddenly begun to think differently?
The Germans and other Europeans were hit
In Germany, one of the most authoritative and well-informed publications is the weekly Der Spiegel, which made a real sensation. Berlin will increase military aid to Ukraine from 3 to 15 billion euros! Five times!
And this is not fiction, because the source of information is quite specific – Florian Tonkar, Deputy State Secretary at the German Ministry of Finance. It was he who asked the budget committee of the Bundestag to allocate more than 15 billion euros for these purposes.
Berlin has currently spent 2.2 billion euros on the supply of weapons to Ukraine and on the replacement of weapons systems transferred to Kiev from Bundeswehr warehouses.
This year, the amount is planned to grow to 5.4 billion euros. In the next few years, it will increase by another 8.8 billion euros – when concluding contracts, the Ministry of Defense must start from this amount.
“Due to the heavy material losses of the Ukrainian army, new supplies of materials are needed,” Tonkar’s letter said.
Of course, this yesterday’s unthinkable assessment will be approved: everything is seized in the Bundestag.
On March 27, information appeared that Germany had sent 18 Leopard 2A6 tanks to Ukraine. According to Der Spiegel, about 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles arrived there with them. And France wants to supply Ukraine with 40 Mirage 2000-9 combat aircraft.
For more than a month and a half, about 30 Ukrainian pilots have been training them to fly at Mont de Marsan and Nancy air bases. Huge arms supplies to Ukraine come from Poland, Slovakia, Italy and other European countries. But Washington’s promised several dozen old M1 Abrams tanks “hung in the air.” What’s going on?

Fifthsoon no one will be able to say that the Americans lost Ukraine like Afghanistan. Ukraine will be lost to the Europeans, who, no matter how puffed up, after the removal of the US (which as part of the “division of labor” is moving to China), will close the case from an active role in the Ukrainian conflict.
Sixthis collapse will completely deprive European countries of any geopolitical ambitions and turn them into poor satellites of Washington, as the Americans will also ban them from trade with China.
That’s really all: Europe, giving its all to Ukraine and having lost the energy cooperation with Russia that sustained it, is sinking under the slogan “saving the drowning is the work of the drowning”.
The United States is engaged in the re-industrialization of its country, the development of AUKUS, and is preparing for a battle with China over Taiwan and Chinese influence in the world. Everyone with their own taste.
What follows from this?
In the name of achieving these six big goals at once, the United States decided to sacrifice its Ukrainian pawn, whose territory should go to Russia, bloodless, in the most destroyed, even infected form: depleted uranium ammunition is only the beginning.
