Did Delyan Peevski expel Ahmed Dogan from DPS?

This is claimed by Jvdet Chakarov from the group of the honorary chairman

The Chairman of the Central Council of the DPS, Jevdet Chakarov, spoke to the members and sympathizers of the Movement for Rights and Freedom from the Facebook page of the political formation. He claims that the head of DPS-New Beginning also expelled the honorable chairman Ahmed Dogan.

Earlier in the day, a meeting of DPS-New Beginning was held, after which Delyan Peevski boasted that he is now the only leader of the political formation, since Jevdet Chakarov was expelled.but nothing was reported about Honorable Chairman Ahmed Dogan.

In the address, signed by Chakarov, it is said:

“In the last few days, we have seen a theatrical performance led by people who were rightly expelled from the ranks of the DPS because of their behavior that was not in line with our principles, values ​​and ideology. steroids, inherited out of unprecedented arrogance, trying to rewrite history, replace the truth, and assert a legitimacy they never had for themselves.

Their “revolution” is a pathetic attempt at political simulation inspired by cheap allegories of the past They are gathering an “army” of phantoms and people who were never part of the Central Council of us and has nothing to do with the work of the DPS. . They want to expel the brightest figure in the history of DPS – Dr. Ahmed Dogan, the founder, ideologist and honorary chairman of our party.

This absence is nothing more than a discredited attempt at political legitimacy, which worries any true distributor. For us, however, these actions are a clear indication that the base level for the new beginning is lies, ignorance and moral degradation.

DPS is the founder and chairman emeritus Dr. Ahmed Dogan. In this difficult situation, we call on all of you – the true messengers who share our vision of democracy, rights, freedoms and living with your head held high and not ‘ comply with these treatments and recommendations.

We recall the decisions of the last valid Central Council of the DPS on September 23, which clearly govern our position and actions towards these people:

1. The Central Committee terminates membership by excluding Delyan Slavchev Peevski, Halil Redzepov Letifov, Iskra Dimitrova Mihailova-Koparova, Yordan Kirilov Tsonev, Hamid Bari Hamid, Stanislav Dimitrov Anastasov, Radoslav Sabinov Revanski and Erten Belginova Anisova and release as members of the party. from management positions, as well as the reasons for the decisions made. The members of the Central Council who were present at the meeting reaffirmed and fully supported the reasons for excluding the chairman Delyan Peevski, the members of the party and its groups.

2. PP “DPS” to participate in the coalition “Alliance for Rights and Freedom” together with PP “FAIR BULGARIA UNITED PATRIOTS” and “NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL UNION” in the upcoming parliamentary elections, which will be held on 27 October 2024.

3. Without Bayram Yuzkan Bayram, Elvan Behchet Gyurkash, Ayten Bayryam Sabri, Atige Bayryamova Aliyeva-Veli, Cem Yamen Yamenov, Dimitar Ivanov Avramov, Ivo Sevdalinov Tsanev, Nadia Yordanova Petrova, Nebie Ismet Kabak, Nezhdet Shakimova, Nezhdet Zhenya, Nezhdet Nikolay Ismail Yildus, Hussein Hassan Hafazov, Tsvetan Ivanov Enchev, Sheendoan Remzi Halit, on the basis of Art. 6, para. 4, item 1 etc. 2, item 4, proposition 2 et seq. from the Party Charter, that is to exceed the powers given, disparaging the DPS in the mass media; creating conditions for schism and factionalism, threatening the integrity of the party and its governing bodies.

While we await the decision of the Sofia City Court, we cannot remain silent about the alarming signs of pressure on the court that we receive every day. We believe that the Bulgarian judicial system will resist this ongoing attempt at manipulation and issue a fair decision that upholds the law.

At the same time, we express our displeasure with the actions of the ruling power, led by Prime Minister Glavchev, who are pursuing state institutions in the most surprising way to accept corruption and slavery in its surface comfortably. The state, instead of working in the interest of citizens, becomes a supporter of figures sanctioned for corruption under the global “Magnitsky” law.

We are disappointed with this approach and we say clearly:

– DPS has a legitimate headquarters, located at Blvd. Aleksandar Stamboliyski 45A and we do not allow illegal transfer or appropriation of party property.

– Already on Monday, we will make a request to cancel this illegal act, which was created without the parliamentary groups being established and without the decision of the leadership of the DPS to give another building to the party.

We believe that Bulgarian institutions should work peacefully for the benefit of Bulgarian citizens, and not be reduced and humiliated for the interest of one person. We are and will continue to be a party that defends national interests, democracy and institutional order. History has proven that the truth, supported by our will and unity, always wins.”
