The young Kuwaiti director Nasser Al-Qattan expressed his happiness that his film “The Signal” was selected to be screened in the official competition for short documentary films in Red Sea Film Festival In its fourth session, which starts from 5 to 14 December, this is the only Kuwaiti film among the official selection of the festival.

The film “The Signal” deals with the story of a young man who stands under a traffic light and looks at the sky.
The story is taken from the short story collection – Sons of Recent Times – by writer Faisal Al-Habini, screenplay and dialogue by Hussein Al-Mutawa, and acting by Musaed Khaled, Ahmed Al-Shammari, and Saleh Al- Daraa the film directed by Nasser Al-Qattan and produced by Filmak Art Production Company.
