LEVI. American skier Mikaela Shiffrin topped the rankings after the first round of the first slalom of the World Cup season.
In Levi, Finland, she led with a lead of 60 hundredths of a second ahead of Lena Dürrová from Germany, while Croatia’s Zrinka Ljutičová (+0.73) was third.

Fourth Austrian Katharina Liensbergerová (+0.83) and fifth American Paula Moltzanová (+0.90) were within one second.
Czech skier Martina Dubovská also appeared on the track, who lost 2.25 seconds to Shiffrin, but took 21st place overall and will also appear in the second round.
Slovakia’s Petra Vlhová was absent from the start, as she is still recovering from her injured knee. She would like to return to the mountains in December.
The starting list for the first round consisted of 86 competitors, 23 skippers did not finish it. The conditions in the Finnish resort were not ideal, there was a lot of fog in the upper part of the route, and after that it started to snow a lot.
The second round is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
