ALDI continues to consolidate its presence in the Community of Andalusia where it will open two new stores in the month of November. The company currently has a total of 103 supermarkets in the region, after the inauguration that took place on June 18 in the city of Marbella, belonging to the province of Malaga.
Specifically, ALDI will open its first establishment in San José de la Rinconada (Seville) on November 27, and it will be located at km 3 of the Seville – Brenes Highway. The new store will have a sales room of more than 1,300 m2 and a team of 12 workers.
The new ALDI in San José de la Rinconada brings a new shopping option to the residents of the province of Seville, with a wide assortment of high-quality products at low prices. Specifically, the company offers its customers a wide assortment with 86% of its own brand products and 80% of national origin, making it easier for Andalusian families to save on their weekly shopping.
After reaching one hundred stores last March with the inauguration of its first establishment in the Malaga municipality of Nerja, Andalusia remains the autonomous community with the most ALDI stores in Spain. Since its arrival in the Andalusian region, ALDI has worked to bring families its purchasing option based on discounts and low prices. With this goal in mind, the company has opened up to 30 supermarkets in the community in the last five years.

ALDI brings its model closer to more and more families thanks to its expansion model
In 2024, ALDI has intensified its expansion plan in the Community of Andalusia with a new opening in the municipality of Nerja (Málaga) in March, and another two in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) in May and in the city of Marbella (Malaga) in June.
Furthermore, during the month of October, the company has continued to grow in the north of the country with its first store in Ourense (Galicia) and has reinforced its presence in Catalonia with another opening in the city of Barcelona, in the Gràcia district. Likewise, in the month of November it opened two stores in the province of Alicante, in the municipality of La Nucía and in Torrevieja, respectively.
In total, the company expects to open around 20 new establishments in this last quarter of 2024, which will allow it to bring its discount model to more Spanish households. Currently, more than 7 million customers choose to shop at ALDI, 26% more than three years ago.
