SYRIZA MPs submitted a Question and Request for Submission of Documents to the Parliament on the initiative of Iota Poulos regarding the transparency and reliability in the tendering procedures of AADE.
The questions arise following the complaints in the printed and electronic press, in which Documento took the lead with revelations, about methods during the conduct of the housing tender process of the AADE services, in order to qualify for the lease of a property belonging to specific business interests, with connections to the direct prime ministerial environment.

Mr. Hatzidakis is asked to answer if he intends to officially investigate the complaints in question, states the MP Yota Poulos.
The five questions to the Minister of National Economy & Finance
“1. Is there any intention of the Ministry to fully investigate the above-mentioned complaints about “rigged” tenders and political influence in AADE and, specifically, in relation to the announcement of a property lease for housing the offices and services of AADE?
2. Was the above declaration preceded by a building program, i.e. spatial planning and economic-technical study that presents in detail the housing needs (number of employees, functional needs such as archive space and meeting rooms) and the quality specifications?
3. What measures of transparency and reliability have been taken by the competent services of the Ministry with regard to the tender procedures of AADE, in order to ensure that the terms do not limit open competition or favor specific companies?
4. What measures does the Ministry take to avoid conflicts of interest in the AADE procedures, so as to ensure the independence of decisions from any political interference?
5. What actions will the Ministry take to ensure the integrity of AADE tenders in the future?”
Filing of documents
“Furthermore, Mr. Minister to submit the following documents to Parliament:
1. The building program drawn up by the competent services of A.A.D.E. and approved before the announcement of the tender procedure if any.
2. Copies of the building permit of the property as above leased, with the requested uses of the premises, as well as the blueprints of the architectural study, considered by the competent administration service, as submitted to the commission of the tender.
