Jake Paul achieved a great victory against the legendary boxer, Mike Tyson, by unanimous decision, on Friday (11/15, early Saturday 16/11 Greek time), at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in one of the most unlikely fights in history of the sport.
Specifically, according to NBC News, all three judges scored the fight in favor of Jake Paul, with scores of 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73. The win improves Jake Paul’s professional record to 11-1, while dropping Mike Tyson to 50-7.
“He’s exactly what I thought, one of the greatest to ever do it,” Jake Paul said after the fight. Mike Tyson was asked if he was officially done with boxing, and he said he wasn’t sure, saying, “I don’t think so.”
It is noted that 27-year-old Jake Paul, a social media star with more than 27 million followers on Instagram and nearly 21 million subscribers on YouTube, prevailed in the match. After the first round when Mike Tyson was more aggressive, his age betrayed him.
So Mike Tyson was slow for most of the fight and barely threw any meaningful punches. His offensive output dropped significantly from mid-game onwards. As such, the much younger Jake Paul pressured the opposition throughout the match while taking little damage.

Jake Paul was asked after the fight who he wants to fight next. “Anyone is next on the list,” he replied characteristically.
