/ world today news/ NFSB called only its most faithful members to the Bunovo station to honor the memory of the victims of the bloody attack, whose 30th anniversary is being celebrated today.
Willingly or not, the NFSB leader alienates his party’s electorate. Another proof is the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Bunovo station tragedy, where only “decent people” were “invited”
Only a part of the coordinators of the local structures of the NFSB received calls from the headquarters with an “order from above” to go to the traditional gathering at the Bunovo station, where every year patriots and their sympathizers honor the memory of the victims of the bloody assassination in 1985. That’s what Voices learned from highly informed sources.
The fear of provocations from called “velizarki” (members and sympathizers of the NFSB, who support independent MP Velizar Enchev, who left the party in disagreement with the actions of its leadership – author’s note), is the reason why the party’s leadership with leader Valeri Simeonov made a special selection of those present at the event, commented those familiar with the atmosphere of tension, which the leader Valeri Simeonov and his deputy Dancho Hadjiev personally instilled both among the organization’s assets and in places.
“They called me on the evening of March 7th at half past nine – says one of the coordinators, who was appointed as a “grandmother” – What does it mean that one day before the event they called me almost in the middle of the night? Most likely, they prefer not to go. I was also told to be careful who I took to Bunovo because there would be many “important people” there. It was explained to me that there were to be no “simple” or bad-looking people in my group. I wonder what I’m still doing in this party.”
Later it became clear that the “important people” were led by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, leader of the coalition partner of the PF in the NA GERB.
“Voices” also learned that some of the coordinators were not even informed about the event, let alone invited. In this way, entire structures, especially from the Sofia district, where the leader of the Patriotic Front list in the parliamentary elections was Velizar Enchev, were prevented from paying their respects to those who died in 1985. peaceful citizens.
“Valery Simeonov himself is splitting his own party out of stupidity. Now even those who are hesitating whether to stay in the NFSB or to join the new party that Velizar Enchev announced that he will establish are convinced that their place is not with people like Valery Simeonov, Valentin Kasabov, Dimitar Bayraktarov and other “chosen ones” “who proved that they are in the National Assembly, driven by ambitions for power and personal gain”, analyzed disappointed members of the NFSB.
“The funeral prayer held in memory of the victims was attended by the chairman of the PG of the “Patriotic Front” Valeri Simeonov and the people’s representatives Julian Angelov, Polina Karastoyanova, Boris Yachev, Dimitar Bayraktarov, Sultanka Petrova,” the NFSB press center announced.
For the first time, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Dr. Petar Moskov – Minister of Health, honored the anniversary with their presence. The MEP from VMRO Angel Jambazki and Yanaki Stoilov – deputy chairman of the National Assembly of BSP were also present at the event.
The official guests and residents of Bunovo honored the memory of the dead with a minute’s silence, wreaths and flowers were laid at the lobby.
The tragedy at Bunovo station took place on March 9, 1985, when three Turkish terrorists – members of the Turkish national liberation movement in Bulgaria – blew up the carriage for mothers with children on the Burgas-Sofia high-speed train. As a result of the cruel terrorist act carried out by Emin Mohammadali, Ali Aptula Aptula Chakar and Saafet Rejeb Rejeb, seven innocent people, including two children, died. The perpetrators were caught and sentenced to death in 1988, but eyewitnesses of the tragedy and relatives of the dead still remember the horror.
