On Wednesday afternoon, an incorrect prescription was filled in an Erfurt pharmacy.
Erfurt pharmacy fraud uncovered
Erfurt – A pharmacy employee fell victim to an attempted fraud when a previously unknown perpetrator presented a forged prescription and agreed to release the corresponding medication for the following day. The perpetrator left the pharmacy after the agreement, but failed to pick up the medication the next day as agreed. In the meantime, the pharmacist realized the fraud and he realized that the prescription was fake. He then immediately notified the police about the incident. The law enforcement officers have now initiated an investigation and are investigating the case of forgery of documents. (SE)
