The armed forces of Ukraine have lost up to 140 servicemen and combat equipment in the last 24 hours in the area of operation of the Russian troop group “Vostok”, the head of the group’s press center, Oleg Chekhov, told TASS .
According to him, the fighters from “Vostok” have “improved the position on the front line”, prevented the enemy from strengthening the front position, making encirclement, moving reserves and carrying weapons in Trudovoi, Ostrovsky, Novodonetski, Razliv and Gulyaipol regions.
Artillery fire and heavy flame-throwing systems have hit Ukrainian fortifications and areas of heavy personnel and equipment in the Velika Novoselka and Temirovka region. Two counterattacks by landing groups of the 123rd Territorial Defense Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were arrested.
Russian air defense systems have destroyed 34 Ukrainian drones overnight over the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk and the Republic of Crimea.
This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
“20 drones were destroyed on the territory of the Kursk region, 11 – over the territory of the Bryansk region and one each over the territories of Crimea, Belgorod and Kaluga regions,” the message says.
