The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is organizing, in partnership with Côte d’Azur Habitat and numerous neighborhood associations, the “Nice North on the move” event, a big festive day for families in the Las Planas district, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On the program: numerous activities to create social ties between local residents in three places in the Las Planas district: the esplanade, the football stadium and the Galice social center, located on Boulevard Henri Sappia and rue Jean-Henri Fabre.
Through the activities offered, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis intends to strengthen social ties and encourage exchanges between residents. The objective is to bring together all generations in the public space. Public spaces can in fact become a place of noisy gatherings, incivility, and neighborhood conflicts, particularly in the evening. It is therefore important to show that everyone can find their place, while respecting differences.
To participate in the activities, residents will first have to answer a questionnaire on the rights and duties of tenants and on civic behavior. A consultation stand will be available to collect ideas from residents on the use of the esplanade and to consider its development in a concerted manner.

- Invitation to pétanque and street entertainment by the Galicia association
- Animated book and treasure hunt the Histoires Vivantes association
- Poetic wandering by the ARS Legendi association
- Resident consultation stand
- Menstrual insecurity by l’association AFCCC
- Sports activities of the Sports Department of the City of Nice
- Introduction to boxing with l’association Theagene
- Introduction to batucada by the Testa Dura association
- Dance for seniors with, at 2 p.m., a show proposed by a resident!
- Stand with associative and institutional information.
