CAMPECHE.- The IMSS-Wellness Delegation took another step to protect the health of the people of Campeche with a successful vaccination campaign against influenza and Covid-19, which took place at the Álvaro Vidal Vera Hospital and was extended to various parts of the state.
Sanitary District No. 1,
received the doses with the aim of guaranteeing comprehensive health for all. This campaign is part of the actions of the IMSS-Bienestar to reinforce immunization in the most vulnerable areas of the state.
There was also an important participation of the personnel of the Secretariat of Citizen Protection and Security (SPSC), who also joined the immunization campaign. Even the head of the SPSC, Marcela Muñoz, joined because the team is on the first line of care.
The campaign was not only limited to adults. At the COBACAM campus in Candelaria, staff also vaccinated students, teachers and staff. In total, 232 doses were applied in this educational institution, protecting young people and those in charge of their education.
Another of the notable measures was the application of vaccines in the Cereso de Carmen, these immunization measures were carried out for both the workers of the penitentiary center and for the people deprived of their liberty.
