It is still unclear who shot the young entrepreneur Florian B. in Hamburg. However, more and more details are coming to light about his involvement in criminal activities.

The killed young entrepreneur Florian B. was recently buried. According to media reports, investigators from the Hamburg State Criminal Police Office were also present at the funeral service. Accordingly, the police had hoped that the perpetrator could be there, as the “Bild” wrote, among others. When asked, the Hamburg police would neither confirm nor deny the reporting. The officials justify this with “investigational tactical reasons”.

Little is known about the perpetrator who killed Florian B.. The 31-year-old B. was shot in the entrance to his home in the Neustadt district at the end of October. It later became known that the young entrepreneur, whose company specialized in equestrian products, had a criminal past. Further details are now known about this.

The man killed is said to have carried out a “buoyant trade in marijuana, hashish and cocaine in the Munich city area,” according to a ruling by the Munich district court. The main hearing was held in 2018. Florian B. was sentenced to almost three years in prison.

Previously, B., who had already been convicted, was said to have stored drugs in an underground car park – marijuana, hashish and cocaine. This came to light after the entrepreneur offered to buy drugs to a police officer in a McDonald’s branch. Later, B. is said to have shown understanding and confessed in court.

But according to the Munich public prosecutor’s office, that was not the only prison sentence that the man who was killed had to serve. In 2016 he was found guilty of grievous bodily harm and sentenced to eight months in prison. In a bar in Munich, B. pushed a man down the stairs while he was drunk. The victim suffered a head injury.

It remains unclear whether B.’s criminal past is connected to the crime in Hamburg-Neustadt. The investigation is ongoing. The officers will receive information about the perpetrator or suspicious observations by calling 040/4286-56789. However, witnesses can also report to a police station.
