The tumor was discovered several years ago. In an interview with Plejada, Lech-Maciejewska recalled the moment of her diagnosis.

– When I saw the tumor eight years ago, I didn’t do everything to find out faster. (…) I could have gone and said I wanted to do a biopsy of the tumor, but I didn’t do it, she admitted.

Finally, she found a doctor who encouraged her to examine the tumor.

– She turned on my blood stream and said: ‘You see, this tumor shines like Las Vegas.’ She sent me for a biopsy. The situation had to be so bad that I had to get the results within two weeks, and the results came back the same day. “Malignant tumor,” she read.

The despair was great. The deliveryman began to have the worst thoughts.

– I saw the diagnosis and for the first time in my life I experienced dissociation, ie separation from consciousness. (…) I didn’t understand it. (…) I took my husband to a separate room and … I fell to the floor, I fell to the ground. The crying started. Despair. For me it was clear – I will just die or I will suffer a lot, my life will change irrevocably – Lech-Maciejewska revealed in an interview for Plejada.

Marta Lech-Maciejewska recently announced via social media that she had a “red briefcase”. It is a collection of the most important documents, important slogans and suggestions for the final farewell. It is created “just in case”, but it is worth having. Because, as Polsat’s presenter emphasizes, “life writes different situations. ”

– There are unexpected situations where people close to us are left not only with great trauma, mourning and difficult situations, but we also have to find out what to log in to the account or our social media, even to our email, where we will have important files – she explained.

– I believe that such a collection of documents should be created when we are healthy and fit. Then you write a will, full of emotions, with the prospect of dying soon, right now when you feel the best in the world, when you at full strength – noted Lech-Maciejewska in Plejada.
