Black Friday Deals: Here’s What Discount Hunters Should Pay Attention to
The extent to which the customer benefits from these promotional days is controversial. In a sample, the comparison portal Idealo.de came to the conclusion that of the 2,237 products examined on Black Friday 2019, 1,722 were actually cheaper than the previous month and 320 had been reduced by 20% or more . However, sharp price increases are rather the exception. The Consumer Advice Center advises consumers to keep a cool head when looking for deals. Price comparisons in search engines such as idealo.de (like WELT, part of Axel Springer SE) might prove more interesting than special offers on the sale day.
The respective offers of the day are collected on an offers page*, which is divided into further subcategories. If you already know which areas you are interested in, it makes navigation easier and helps you find the products that are right for you faster.
Since Prime Day deals are only valid for Amazon Prime subscribers, membership can bring many benefits, especially this month. On Black Friday, deals apply to everyone, but lightning deals are available to Amazon Prime members 30 minutes early. Here too, it may be interesting to take out a test subscription*: it is free for 30 days.
