What are the measures announced?
“It is the authority of the teacher that must be restored. Professors need to know that the institution supports them. […] I don’t want to wait for a serious incident to act,” explains Anne Genetet to Le Figaro. The minister announces that a “accompaniment and support center for staff victims of violence” will be set up in each rectorate, with also a “school climate referent” in each department.
The minister also announced the recruitment of senior education advisors (150) and education assistants (600). “We will increase the positions open for the next CPE competitions and recruit contract workers. They will be deployed from January. » The minister explains that “10 million euros” will be devoted to these measures, a plan “fully financed in the 2025 budget” of the Ministry of Education.
