RIB refinances the loan issued by AS Brīvais vilnis in less than one million euros

In October of this year, JSC “Regional investment bank” (RIB) concluded a financial transaction with JSC “Brīvais vilnis“, refinancing the company’s financial obligations in the amount of 925 thousand euros.

AS “Brīvais vilnis” is one of the leading manufacturers of canned fish in Latvia and the Baltics with a history of more than 70 years. The company continues to develop deliberately, already offering more than 100 different fish products, which are sold both in the local market and also exported outside Latvia. Currently, the canned goods produced in Salacgrīvās go to about 40 countries around the world, namely the USA, Ukraine, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Israel the biggest customers.

“There has never been a shortage of challenges for the production company – the cost of living is increasing, but it is not so easy to raise prices for finished products. To maintain our competitiveness in both the domestic and export markets, we constantly look for solutions to ensure more efficient production, while also making the best use of our resources.
