The Burgas dance company “Dune” will present its most successful production “Rituals of the Soul” on November 22 at the National Theater especially for a youth audience.
What did the author mean? Why are these people doing this?
These are just a few of the questions that the audience can ask the dancers after the performance.
“Rituals of the Soul” is one of the most popular performances of the DUN Dance Company, with over 60 performances in Bulgaria and participation in 7 international festivals. The performance won the IMPULS 2022 award for original choreography and Radoslav Yordanov’s IMPULS 2022 award for dance performer.
At the end of each performance, the audience is invited to participate in a short dance workshop, dance with the artists and experience the practices of the performance itself.
What are the Rituals about?
The play explores the unseen.
There are several energies that define the presence of the human Soul – the energy of love, the energy of forgiveness and the energy of gratitude. Rituals of the Soul guides us on this journey by presenting the invisible vibration of these energies.
The work on the performance draws inspiration from the discoveries of Quantum Physics and the development of human knowledge about the possibilities of the body. The audience is arranged in a circle on the stage, the music is meditative and the air is filled with whispers.
Tickets for young spectators are heavily discounted.
You can find them at the ticket office of the National Theater, and the price of a ticket for young people is BGN 10. The performance is realized with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture.
