Ary Graça: “Adelaide is a natural place for beach volleyball”
The President of the FIVB Ary S. Graça F° said: “For the first time in history, the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships will be in Australia. This discipline is incredibly popular around the world and I am sure that the beautiful city of Adelaide will be a fantastic host for our prestigious tournament. Australia is a natural location for the sport and has the experience needed to deliver a great event.”
The CEO of the Adelaide 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championships, Jenny Mannsaid preparations are underway to welcome the world to Adelaide in November 2025.
“We are thrilled to welcome Olympians and more than 190 of the world’s best players here, representing as many as 50 nations,” he said.
“Sports fans from across the country and around the world will be able to enjoy Adelaide’s spring weather to experience a world-class celebration of beach volleyball in the heart of the city, known for producing incredible sporting events.”
“Beach volleyball can count on great global popularity from all over the globe. We expect Australia’s multicultural community to turn out in force to support the competing nations, including Brazil, China, Italy, India and Spain, to name but a few.”
