Kim Jong Un said that the introduction of such drones around the world requires an urgent update of military theory.
Kim Jong Un previously oversaw a suicide drone test earlier this year, at a time when military cooperation was growing rapidly with him Russia. This raises questions about whether Pyongyang received technical support from Moscow to develop these drones.

Suicide drones, also known as loitering weapons, are a tool that is widely used in wars in Ukraine and also in the Middle East.
“(Kim Jong Un) emphasized the need to establish a continuous production system as early as possible and carry out mass production,” North Korea’s official news agency said. Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) in their report, as reported ReutersFriday (15/11/2024).
In his statement, Kim Jong Un said that competition for the use of drones for military purposes was increasing worldwide, with military authorities likely to recognize their success in conflicts of various sizes.
“Such objective changes are very urgent to update many parts of military theory, practice and education,” Kim Jong Un said before being called by KCNA.
