New ‘Forget Celebrations’ Expansion for ‘This War of Mine’ Announced for 10th Anniversary – Proceeds to Charity!

This War of Mine is getting more content on PC soon. The Forget Celebrations expansion was announced as part of the game’s tenth anniversary on November 14, with developer studio 11 bit pledging to donate the proceeds to charity.

In a press release, the studio writes that it is very proud of what This War of Mine has achieved in ten years. The game, which shows the extent of life in war-torn areas, is displayed in museums around the world and sales of the game have raised millions for charity.

As 11 pieces show, the world has not improved yet in the last ten years, and war and loss of life mark the daily lives of many. That’s why the upcoming expansion is called Forget Celebrations.

– In Forget Celebrations, players return to war-torn Pogoren to follow the story of Katia, an experienced war correspondent. While she struggles to write a book about the brutal reality of war, her home is destroyed in a rocket attack, forcing her into an even tougher fight to survive, read the expansion description.
