Over half a million in compensation for waste in 2024: RetiAmbiente, a company that has incorporated all the local companies for district-wide management of the environmental hygiene service, will collect a cost integration from Camaiore in the current year. The sector manager has in fact recently signed a resolution with which he recognizes an implementation of 522,665 euros in favor of RetiAmbiente based on the annual municipal activity plan presented by the manager.
But what does this integration depend on? These are alignments between municipal and district counts at a corporate level for general land cleaning services. In the end, therefore, citizens will pay the additional sum of 522,665 euros per year for the basic services obtained, including 10 percent VAT, equal to over 47 thousand euros.
Taking a step back, every year Camaiore spends around 10 million euros on waste management: the service is actually carried out by Ersu, after the ‘break’ with Sea. Both local operating companies are part of the parent company RetiAmbiente and, for now, the proposed merger has not occurred; indeed the dispute resolved last February with a settlement seems to re-emerge in view of new ‘reopenings’ of accounts. For 2024 the forecast and spending commitment for Camaiore was 9,952,723 euros: this calculation is carried out in advance to allocate the necessary money in the forecast budget and must then be ‘updated’ upon presentation of the biennial update by of RetiAmbiente and be accounted for and then pay the money: it is like setting aside a given amount for a job and having to pay an addition following calculations then carried out by those who carry out or do it he did.
The balance in question, which therefore amounts to over half a million euros, is finally invoiced in the first useful month following the validation of the economic-financial plan, in this case relating to the years 2024/25, validated in turn by Ato Costa Toscana.
