The best employers in Latvia in 2024 have been identified

The Confederation of Employers of Latvia (LDDK) presented annual awards to the best employers in 10 regions, LETA group was informed by LDDK.

Among them, JSC “Latvijas finieris” was awarded in the category “For the contribution of the company to the strengthening of defense – for the support provided for the improvement of the defense capabilities of Ukraine”.

In the category “For the company’s support in promoting public health and the health sector”, the award was won by Rīga Stradiņš University, while in the category “For the company’s support to educational institutions (education and research), investments in their infrastructure and the educational process”, the award went to JSC “Mikrotikls”.

AS “Balticovo” was awarded in the sub-category “Investment in business development” of the LDDK annual awards category “Excellence in business 2024”, and in the sub-category “Investment in the promotion of business sustainability” ” – AS “Cēsu alus”. “.

In the category “Excellence in business 2024” in the subcategory “Investment in the well-being of the company’s employees” the award went to SIA “Schwenk Latvia”, and in the subcategory “Investment in brand development ” – JSC “CleanR Grupa” .

At the same time, SIA “Laflora” was awarded in the subsection “For the company’s contribution to the promotion of social communication in 2024” in the category “Contribution to the development of social communication in 2024” of the LDDK Annual Awards , and in the subsection “For the association’s contribution to the promotion of social communication in 2024” to award Latvijas Elektrotehnikas und elektronikas to a business association (LITIR).

On the other hand, Eva Sietiņsone, the chairman of the board “Cēsu alus”, received the LDDK Annual Award in the category “Tautsaimnieks 2024”.

This year, any LDDK member could nominate candidates for nomination for the LDDK Annual Award, and cooperation partners – representatives of the Latvian Trade Union Union, State Revenue Service, Labor Inspectors helped of the State, as well as SIA “Lursoft IT” – by determining the winners of the awards.

LDDK is the largest organization representing employers in Latvia. Since 1993, LDDK represents the interests of employers in social dialogue with the state and trade unions. The organization unites 158 members – entrepreneurs, as well as regional and regional associations and federations of entrepreneurs.
