Unrest has arisen in the Stade de France in Paris surrounding the football match between France and Israel. Images show people running across the stands, while boos can be heard in the background.
There are also videos of boos surrounding Israel’s national anthem before the Nations League match. The precise circumstances surrounding the unrest are not known. The French newspaper Le Monde has asked the police about this, but a spokesperson does not want to provide any further information because there is still uncertainty.
The match is under tight security for fear of riots, with more than 4,000 police in the French capital. Security has been increased following the violence in Amsterdam last week surrounding the match between Ajax and the Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv.

More than six hundred Jewish supporters were escorted to the stadium in Paris earlier today by police. An association that is committed to the Jewish community had arranged the buses.
French President Emmanuel Macron is attending the match. He says he wants to show solidarity after the violence against Israeli football supporters in Amsterdam last week.
