The video shows how the diver gradually descends underwater and reaches the bottom, where he sees a very unhappy fish with sea urchins and stars nearby. At this time, she froze and did not move, tucking her tail fin and only looking at the person with big eyes. Then, at some point, this “unhappy” fish is pushed off the bottom and hides from the diver.
Catfish is considered a small and very rare fish in the waters of Primorye. Its maximum length is 112 centimeters, the color is usually dark and monochromatic. Juveniles sometimes have dark stripes along the body. This fish feeds on mollusks, echinoderms and crustaceans; it is also capable of chewing very thick sea shells with its jaws.
Earlier, tropical fish from Australia unexpectedly appeared in the same Russian region. Local residents spotted a rare mirror sunfish with large eyes and a tall dorsal fin with spines. An unusual fish swam into Valentine Bay and then washed ashore.
