Dominic Thiem comes to the International DTB Tennis Congress

The Grand Slam winner from Austria, who ended his career as a professional tennis player this year, will give a lecture entitled “Goal-oriented action on the court” on the first day of the congress. In the 45-minute practical contribution, Thiem will use exercises on the pitch to demonstrate how important a match plan and the right preparation are for success.

“I have had so many positive and negative experiences in my career that have shaped my path. After my active career, I would like to pass on some of these experiences. For me, the International DTB Tennis Congress, as the largest training event and network meeting for the tennis and padel community in Germany, is the perfect place for this,” said Thiem.

From January 3rd to 5th, 2025, Munich will once again represent concentrated tennis know-how. At the International DTB Tennis Congress presented by HEAD, the tennis and padel community meets to discuss future-oriented trends, opportunities and challenges.

At the congress, trainers receive input on all areas of tennis training – but also information and tips on the professional prospects of their coaching work. The latest trends in club management and engagement promotion will also not be missing and the industry will be presenting its latest products in an exhibition area.

Over 1,000 participants and well-known speakers attended the last congress in 2023. In addition to Dominic Thiem, Patrik Kühnen, Emilio Sánchez and football coach Hermann Gerland are expected in Munich next January.

Tickets are available to buy as a day ticket or as a combination ticket for all three days. By participating in all three days of the congress, trainers can also extend their trainer license.
