3-year-old girl can no longer walk after being struck down by an unknown virus that resembles the common cold

Naomi Wall (29) from Essex saw her daughter suddenly change completely. Daisy was very lively at first and loved to eat, but that all changed in April.

Daisy started vomiting and had trouble keeping herself awake. The mother thought her daughter had the flu. She decided to play it safe and went to the emergency room.

The doctors there thought it was inflammation of the tonsils and prescribed medication. However, Daisy’s condition only worsened.

She had trouble being conscious, so her mother called an ambulance. A CT scan was done at the hospital.

The CT scan showed that Daisy had inflammation and swelling in her brain, caused by a virus. The virus was like a common cold, but it affected her immune system.

In the meantime, Daisy is doing better again. She can eat pure food again and has regained control of her head and left hand. She can hold things with her right hand again. Daisy still can’t walk since she got the virus.
