In fact, during the fifth meeting of this year, the most important motor sport commission in the world has decided to introduce a cooling kit for the pilot when a risk due to heat is declared, following “encouraging” test results. In Section B, revisions to the Sporting Regulations will result in the inclusion of a gender-neutral language, highlighting the FIA’s commitment to inclusiveness across all sectors.

The commission was also updated on the progress made with the teams and on the technical regulations, which fall under Section C, and which are expected to be completed in time for the next WMSC, with the overall objectives in terms of initial performance level “likely to be achieved ”.
