Seventeen months: that’s how long the dream of the people of Battipaglia of having a new one lasted hospital. The project crashed against the 15-page ruling of the judges of the Third Salerno section of the Regional Administrative Court. Il Santa Maria della Speranza “2.0” it will remain yet another sketch on paper, if the Council of State will not accept any appeals from the Region and of theAsl. The judges of the TAR (president Pierluigi Russoextensor Olindo Di Popolo) accepted the appeal of the mayor of Eboli, Mario Conte (lawyers Antonio Brancaccio e Alberto La Gloria), canceling, limited to Battipaglia issues, the resolution with which, in June 2023, the regional council led by the president Vincenzo De Luca approved the regional investment program in healthcare buildings and said yes to the new maxi-facility with 304 beds on the grounds at the foot of the ProfAgri.
Ready-made projects
A pharaonic public work from beyond 120 million euros: i 23.5 million of the National Plan of complementary works to Pnrr they had recently been released after having remained sub judice since February, when the technicians of the Ministry of Economy gave an unfavorable opinion to the diversion of funds initially intended for the seismic adaptation of the current buildings and the construction of a flywheel body.
