Developed by SQUARE ENIX, DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake uses the acclaimed HD-2D style, which mixes beautiful dynamic 3D backgrounds with classic 2D pixel-style sprites. This technique preserves the character of DRAGON QUEST III original and expands the creative opportunities to make the game more accessible and attractive, with more detailed lighting and shadow effects, an even more spectacular world to explore and monsters full of detail.
We will have the feeling of being in front of a modern game thanks to various new features that optimize the gaming experience, including automatic saves, English and Japanese voices and other general system improvements. The game also includes an improved version of the classic turn-based combat system, with new animations, the ability to adjust battle speed, an option for auto-combats, and more.
