2nd University Hospital in France, the HCL brings together 5 hospital groups for 13 geographical centers including 10 short and medium stay centers bringing together the disciplines of medicine and surgery, obstetrics and odontology, and 3 Long Stay USLD centers.
The position is located at HCL Administrative Headquarters, within the Finance and Management Analysis Department, in the Patient Management Service which coordinates the admissions, billing and Patient Social Services offices.
The Patient Management Service manages HCL admission and account, Identification, and management of billing disputes handled by specialized cells.
The administrative assistant position is part of different missions within the special litigation units “Health Insurance” (supporting institutions with complex denials) and “Mutuals” ( handling billing disputes for insurance companies distributed online)
This position is placed under the responsibility of the Executive Assistant and Administrative Officer of the Patient Management Service in charge of billing and the special litigation unit.
· Management of mutual invoice rejections that are transferred electronically: handling disputes, regular monitoring of outstanding amountsbackward to the Treasury in support of the Treasury Department.
· Management of several billing controls after approval from the CPAM: (Pharmaceuticals returned – laboratory, etc.)
· Control before sending hospital invoices to patients above €765.
· Management of complex files in support of institutions, linked to foreign patients, or files of sensitive patients who are currently requesting AME rights, Emergency Care, Private Insurance.
· Makes a special invoice centrally at the Head Office, in relation to the DIM: inter-institutional services, Intermediate GHS, control of invoice files under the Caisse Internationale des Immigrants
· Support HCL admissions offices on these various missions
