NBA program: 11 matches including Kings – Suns and Lakers

Big night ahead in the NBA, since twenty-two of the thirty teams will be in uniform tonight. On the program, not really a big shock, but plenty of nice little posters, like the continuation of the beef between Lakers and Grizzlies, or the first duel between Alexandre Sarr and Victor Wembanyama in the NBA.

The NBA evening program

  • 1h : Magic – Pacers
  • 1h30 : Nets – Celtics
  • 1h30 : Knicks – Bulls
  • 1h30 : Thunder – Pelicans
  • 1h30 : Sixers – Cavaliers
  • 2h : Rockets – Clippers
  • 2h : Bucks – Pistons
  • 2h : Spurs – Wizards
  • 4h : Lakers – Grizzlies

  • 4h : Kings – Suns

Duel of French giants in Texas

Tonight, the Spurs host the Wizards for the first time this season. The opportunity for Victor Wembanyama to reunite with Bilal Coulibaly, with whom Wemby shared the floor for some time in the Mets jersey.

But the opportunity, also, and perhaps even above all, to see the first clash between Victor and Alexandre Sarr, second choice of the last Draft. A duel at very high altitude, and which promises to be exciting for us, tired French fans.

Since his arrival at the Wizards, Alex is gradually finding his feet, and has already shown some very good things. So to confirm his talent, what could be better than a duel against Victor Wembanyama who has been regaining color for two matches. We don’t know about you, but we’re already looking forward to it.

34 points.
13/22 shooting.
6/12 you parking.
2/2 on throws.
14 rebounds.
6 passes.
3 blocks.

Huge match from Victor Wembanyama against the Kings, one of the best of his season. Nothing forced, present on the rebound, in defense, just in his choices. pic.twitter.com/r9cHvNK6Bd

Lakers against Grizzlies, it’s going to heat up

It’s no secret that the Lakers and the Grizzlies will not go on a giant camp together. A few days ago, the Oursons emerged victorious from the first clash of the season between the two teams. A first match, which had the smell of blood.

If the Grizz quite easily disposed of the Angelinos, without Anthony Davis it must be remembered, the meeting did not lack animosity. After scoring on poor Gabe Vincent, who didn’t ask for anything, Ja Morant didn’t have to be asked to throw a too small to the leader of the Lakers. A celebration that LeBron James himself hastened to do after having sent Morant falling on a drive. The two ultimately spent the evening arguing, and despite the King’s 39 points, it was Ja and his gang who emerged victorious from the encounter.

Tonight, the roles seem to have reversed, since Anthony Davis is back, and Ja Morant should not a priori not being in an outfit, embarrassed by his hip. We should still be able to count on the leader to warm up the bench (and the Lakers), so get out the popcorn, because it’s going to blow!

“I DON’T LIKE THEM.”

Morant hit Gabe Vincent with the ‘too small,’ then LeBron BULLDOZED Ja on a layup & gave the ‘too small’ back to him! 😳

The Bucks need to get their heads above water

What a struggle, this start to the season for the Bucks. With only three small victories in eleven matches played, Giannis and his gang cannot do it. Worse still, the image sent back to the field is worrying, and inevitably, it is the atmosphere in the locker room which suffers, as evidenced by the media outing of the Greek Freak a few days ago.

However, Milwaukee won against the Raptors last night, and would be well advised to take advantage of the Pistons coming to town to score a double. We know, back-to-backs are never easy, but JB Bickerstaff’s men are also coming off an intense match against Miami.

Stringing together two victories in a row would surely do a lot of good for Milwaukee, and would perhaps allow the season to finally start.

No back-to-back for Joel Embiid and Paul George

If Joel Embiid and Paul George played together for the first time last night against the Knicks, they will unsurprisingly be rested for the back-to-back against the Cavaliers.

Joel had indicated that he wanted to play against Cleveland this Wednesday, but the Sixers medical staff said no.

The French of the night in the NBA:

  • Pacôme Dadiet against the Chicago Bulls at 1:30 a.m.
  • Ousmane Dieng against the New Orleans Pelicans at 1:30 a.m.
  • Guerschon Yabusele vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers at 1:30 a.m.
  • Nicolas Batum against the Houston Rockets at 2:00 a.m.
  • Victor Wembanyama and Sidy Cissoko against Alexandre Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly at 2:00 a.m.
  • Rudy Gobert vs. Portland Trail Blazers and Rayan Rupert at 4:00
